Rs 100 Commemorative Coin in India
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a commemorative coin of Rs 100 in honor of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This coin as a picture of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
On December 25, the former Prime Minister’s birth anniversary. On the same occasion, a commemorative coin has been issued. Tell us, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born on December 25, 1924, in Gwalior. In such a situation, the government has made its 95th birth anniversary special.

This commemorative coin features the National Emblem of India on the front face of the coin. The word Satyamev Jayate is written below the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in Devanagari script. On the same, inscribed on the coin are the words ‘Bharat’ in Devanagari and ‘India’ in Roman script.
And on the other side, we see the photo of Vajpayeeji, the full name of the former Prime Minister has been written in Devanagari and English. At the bottom of the coin, Vajpayee birth year and death year i.e 1924-2018 is written.

This commemorative coin is planned to be kept in the value category of Rs 100 and this coin will not be in circulation. According to the media reports, Atal Bihari Vajpayee coin booking is expected to be sold at premium rates of Rs 3300 to Rs 3500.
The 35 grams of this coin contains 50 percent silver, 40 percent copper, 5 percent nickel, and 5 percent zinc. The coin, priced at Rs 100, will not be in circulation. The Government of India will decide the time for booking coins and it will be sold at premium rates. It can be bought directly from the mint.
Let us tell you that former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee died on August 16, 2018, at the age of 93. He served the country three times as Prime Minister. The Uttarakhand government has already announced the name of Dehradun Airport to be named after the former Prime Minister. Earlier, the famous Hazratganj crossing of Lucknow was renamed as Atal Chowk.
